About MSFC

Following a successful merger of 2 local football clubs (Sutton Rangers & Mepal Sports) in the summer of 2023, Mepal & Sutton FC was formed. At MSFC, we aim to provide safe, fun & friendly grassroots football for local players.

Starting off with young children at our ‘Mini Strikers’ academy, we provide football for all ages and genders, and a pathway to adult football with one of our 4 (3 men’s & 1 lady’s) adult teams in the Cambs County Leagues.

We aim to provide friendly teams for players of all ages and abilities, for Players from Mepal, Sutton-in-the-Isle, and our neighbouring villages.
The ethos of MSFC is about fun, inclusion & development. Our mini-soccer teams are committed to the FA philosophy, where we ensure they provide all squad members with equal game time before they reach the competitive world of Colts football in the Under 12 age group and beyond.

As an FA ‘Charter Standard’ club, we have a commitment to child welfare & safeguarding. Our coaches are FA Level 1 qualified, ensuring that our players (your children) are able to develop their skills to their full potential, in a fun & encouraging environment. We’re affiliated to the Cambridgeshire FA and play in the Cambridgeshire Colts & Mini-Soccer leagues.

Our home pitches are situated at Mepal Recreation Ground & the Brooklands Centre, Sutton. Neighbouring villages near Ely, Cambridgeshire. We have great facilities, ample parking & match-day refreshments. Our visiting teams are always made to feel welcome.

Our pitches are well looked after and known as some of the best grass surfaces in the Cambs leagues. The recent merger has provided the club more playing areas with better facilities, these will give us greater capacity to house our ever-increasing number of teams & players, well into the future.

Our club colours are red/black shirts, black shorts and red socks.
